The KGM Actyon is a mid-size coupe-style crossover SUV introduced by SsangYong in July 2024. It revives the Actyon nameplate originally used by SsangYong between 2005 and 2010, derived from "action" + "young." This modern iteration builds on the KGM Torres platform but features a sleeker, wider, and lower silhouette—more akin to a Sport Utility Coupe (SUC)—intended to appeal to a youthful, premium SUV audience.
2. Engine, Power & Performance
Under the hood sits a turbocharged 1.5'L GDi petrol engine, producing approximately 280'Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and is available in front-wheel-drive and optional all-wheel-drive layouts. The vehicle can reach a top speed of around 191'km/h
3. Fuel Economy & Emissions
The KGM Actyon achieves combined WLTP fuel consumption figures of roughly 8.5'L/100'km with O2 emissions around 194'g/km. City driving (low speed) sees consumption at about 11.1'L/100'km, while highway/high-speed driving dips to 7.3–8.3'L/100'km, reflecting decent efficiency for its engine size and chassis.
4. Dimensions, Capacity & Comfort
Built to be roomier than its Torres sibling, the Actyon measures approximately 4,740'mm long, 1,920'mm wide, and 1,680'mm tall, riding on a 2,680'mm wheelbase. It offers five seats with generous rear legroom, a front-to-rear turn circle of about 10.86'm, and a 668'L boot—expandable to 1,568'L with the rear seats folded down. Suspension setup includes McPherson front struts and independent multi-link rear, disc brakes all around, and 20 inch wheels with 245/45 R20 tyres
